Purpose To educate ministers to preach the Christian religion.
Focus Christian education; Education, Religious; Religion.
Qualifications Applicants must be upper-level undergraduate (junior or senior only) or graduate students enrolled in a college/university program leading to a bachelor or master degree in a field that prepares the student to preach the Christian religion or enter into vocational ministry; must be a citizen of the United States of America and a permanent resident of the northernmost twenty-six counties of the Texas Panhandle; must have a cumulative undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or above or a cumulative graduate GPA of 3.0 or above
Criteria Preference will be given in the following order: applicants intending to serve as pulpit pastors upon graduation; applicants intending to be college pastors, youth pastors, children's pastors, or similar; applicants intending to do some type of vocational Christian ministry in church, such as biblical counseling, discipleship minister, or similar.
